The goal:
Help the most anticipated selections in the draft celebrate reaching the National Hockey League with deadline-driven videos.

This is a project I led strategy, content and execution for as Manager, Social Player Development with the NHL social team.

  • Partnership with agency yielded posts from 3 of top 4 picks.

  • In each case, content was the player’s most-liked post of all time.

  • Owen Power, who went first overall, saw his following double after the draft.
